AFL NSW/ACT is committed to growing the game within our diverse communities. The Multicultural Schools Football Program (MSFP) aims to engage young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to broaden both the participating and supporter base in Australian football.
The key elements of the program are:
• Introduce culturally and linguistically diverse populations to Australian culture through Australian football and the AFL
• Build fine and gross motor skills through Australian football activities
• Focus on Fair Play, Respect, Team Work, Harmony and Leadership
The MSFP runs between 6-8 weeks, and is available to both primary and secondary schools, in the public, private or independent school systems. AFL NSW/ACT staff deliver the program and provide all the equipment required. From more information please contact one of the multicultural development officers.
