Introduction
The “Intra School” program runs for a minimum of six weeks with the program delivered by both AFL(NSW/ACT) staff and teachers at the school. Students learn the skills and rules of the game before participating in a competition of their own. This program is generally conducted in sport time, lunch time or after school with a large number of participants

Years 7 to 12
Length of the Program
The program runs for a minimum of six weeks. The format of the program is as follows:
Preprogram – Teacher Level 0 development program
Week 1 – Introduction and instruction on basic skills
Week 2 – Assign students to teams for match practice
Week 3 – Warm up to full match (where appropriate AFL Recreational Football/Modified Rules)
Week 4 to completion – Teachers supervise matches and activities for completion
Staff Time
The program is staffed by the AFL (NSW/ACT) for the first three weeks, and then teachers for the duration of the program. In this time the teacher will shadow the development staff members providing them with the skills to continue the program on AFL(NSW/ACT) staff leave the school.
Teacher commitment includes:
• Assistance in the supervision of students
• Assistance in the circulation and collation of registration forms
• Delivery of the program after three weeks
