The Swans Cup and Giants Cup are exciting competitions designed for secondary schools located within both the Sydney Swans and GWS Giants talent zones.
For the Swans Cup, this will include schools from Sydney Harbour, Sydney South/Illawarra, Hunter/Central Coast and Northern NSW. For the Giants Cup, schools from Greater Western Sydney, Southern NSW and the ACT/South Coast will participate in.
Both competitions consist of boys and girls divisions. Boys consists of Under-14s, Under-16s and Opens, while the girls competition will consist of two divisions in Under-15s and Opens. Both competitions will conclude in an AFL state final which will be played in Sydney in Term 3. In 2010, saw the introduction of a girls competition.
